Joel Lax has a wide range of experience in the automotive industry. He began his work with cars in his high school automobile vocational-technical program. His first employment was in a classic car restoration shop. Soon afterward, he became a counter salesman and parts specialist for a speed and performance shop. He also worked for two different new car dealerships before going back to the speed and performance shop, this time as an owner/partner. When he moved to North Carolina, Joel worked at another speed and performance shop before joining Derham’s Alignment & Auto Repair as the service advisor and manager. His career in the automotive industry now spans 22 years.
