Joel Lax has a wide range of experience in the automotive industry. He began his work with cars in his high school automobile vocational-technical program. His first employment was in a classic car restoration shop. Soon afterward, he became a counter salesman and parts specialist for a speed and performance shop. He also worked for two different new car dealerships before going back to the speed and performance shop, this time as an owner/partner. When he moved to North Carolina, Joel worked at another speed and performance shop before joining Derham’s Alignment and Brake Center as the service advisor and manager. His career in the automotive industry now spans 22 years.
